During the premiere of the musical "The Devil Wears Prada: The Musical," Vanessa Williams shone for her unrelenting beauty, yet she also raised brows after netters saw her neck. What happened?
The 61-year-old actress truly made a stunning entrance as the "main event" with her looks. On the red carpet, she wore a one-shoulder black dress that had a sheer cut, exposing her slim waist. Vanessa's makeup and hairstyle perfectly matched her regal and bold aura as well.
Seeing this, commenters agreed that her sense of fashion strongly emulates the iconicness and the character of Miranda Priestly, the role she will be portraying.
For so long, Meryl Streep "owned" this character after originally playing the role in the 2006 hit film, which was also adapted from a 2003 novel by Lauren Weisberger.
In the journalist photos released from the event, Williams earned rave reviews for her dress, makeup, hairstyle, and "diva" energy. They wrote:
"Queen DIVA!"
"Stunning, as always!"
"When I saw the first photo, immediately I heard you went and saved the best for last. Always beautiful, always a fan."
However, some internet users expressed their concerns after seeing her neck, which seems to have large veins popping out of the body part.
"Her neck? What is going on?"
"Why do all of their necks look weird. That's just not naturally aged neck."

This particular photo raised plastic surgery allegations, but her supporters immediately refuted this by claiming that it was just due to bad lighting while taking the picture. After all, in her other photos, her neck does look better and natural.
"Maybe the lighting is just really bad in these photos."
"Who even took these photos. Fire that photographer."
Meanwhile, regarding the concerns that Vanessa slowed down her aging through cosmetic surgeries, she clarified in an interview that she stopped getting Botox, and refuted that she had fillers and face lift. Rather, she is getting micro and nanocurrent to strengthen and tighten her facial muscles and skin.
"I want to look like myself. I want people to know this face has lived. That’s kind of where I am at at this point, at 61," said the actress.
